Greetings. The Tick Tock Tavern, with the support of Public House Brewing Company: Rolla, will be offering a weekend-long chance to support Artica, two weeks ahead of the fall festival Artica 2018 MississipEpiphany. It's called Artica/Bartica; how smartica!
The event will take place on two dates: Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30, from 12-4 pm each day. The event will help fund two particular aspects of this year's Artica: a bouffon theatrical performance from Ten Directions; and installation art from Artica co-founder Hap Phillips.
You will have multiple ways of supporting Artica on this weekend.
1. Come in and drink and the bar will kick a generous percentage to Artica. We're hosting this over two days and eight-hours, to capture more interested parties than a single day might provide.
2. Come in and drink from a special Public House draft line, with funds from that particular beer going directly to Artica.
3. Your bartender, Thomas, will put all tips back into the pot.
4. And there will be a penny rally all weekend, too. We'd invite you to bring in that sock, coffee can or shoe box of change. You'd be amazed at how much money a community can raise from all that loose metal.
The Tick Tock Tavern is a cash-only bar, located at 3459 Magnolia in Tower Grove East. Steves Hot Dogs Tower Grove will be open on Saturday, not Sunday.

As the big event draws nearer and planning evolves from less talking to more doing we'll be ready for our fantastic crew of volunteers to get prepared for their respective duties. We're going to talk about what we have planned so far, what's confirmed, and the specifics of the various jobs involved.
This will be a casual gathering, BYOB if you prefer some libations but we may be on the go. We're still waiting to see if we can access the space for a walk through with volunteers on this day. If so we may either meet there, or just caravan over for a lookee-loo and return for discussion.
Thanks again for being such a great team! We can't imagine doing this without all of YOU!
Hello Articans! It’s that time of year when we come out of hibernation and start celebrating the creative spirit of St. Louis together!
11:00AM: Meet at Tower Grove Park with your teeny tiny totems. We'll meet near the intersection of Main Drive and South Drive at the East end of the park near Grand Ave. If you don't have a Totem, you can be your own Totem! Pick your favorite costume and join the fun! Bring your kids along on the parade, when we meet up at the Tick Tock Tavern, they will love a tasty lunch at Steve's Hot Dogs next door!
11:30AM: PARADE! We'll stroll South along South Grand to Wyoming, then cross the intersection to head back North to Magnolia where we will turn and head East towards Tock Tock a few blocks away.
12:00PM-4:00M: If you can't make it to the parade, the Tick Tock Tavern is offering Artica 20% of sales during this time. Please invite your friends and drink with us all afternoon to help raise funds for Artica 2018: MississipEpiphany! Join us in some good old fashioned ARTICA revelry!
2:00PM: Farshid Soltanshahi will be playing for us, you don't want to miss it!
